Come one, come all to a fun, educational, inspirational, hopeful gathering!
Location: Boulder 7th Day Adventist Church 4th and Mapleton (enter on 4th St side, lower level) Special guests Ben & Jerry!
Bring a pot luck something if you can.
We’ll watch the 22 min film Arc of Justice (see trailer there) about the challenging and ultimately triumphant story of the first community land trust. It was formed by black farmers in Georgia in 1970. Is there a connection between this story and losing 1,000-2,000 net affordable-attainable housing units every year in the City of Boulder?
By getting to know each other better and learning together, can we create a win-win in Boulder that preserves important values like inclusivity, innovation, beauty, widely-shared prosperity, quiet and neighborhood character? Let’s ask Cherry Garcia!
